Words are powerful; they can serve to bring encouragement, comfort and compassion to others, or just as easily can tear them down, causing discouragement, pain and upset. Through the example of Christ Jesus we’re called to be ambassadors of God’s love, letting His grace and mercy flow through us to others by way of our words, our decisions and our actions.

It is far better to encourage someone by our words than to tear them down. We should do as our Lord Jesus Christ did, be His example. A wonderful post.

Very appropriate, timely verse for me today. I think God wanted you to post it for me. 🙂 Even in times of confrontation, I want to let my words be seasoned with grace.
Our words have more power than we realize. As God’s ambassadors, we should think about what we say before we open our mouths!

As a church and believers we are supposed to encourage others and spur one another in our pursuit of the Gospel! Great reminder to faithfully invest in the encouragement of others;)
