“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” – Romans 12:2 (ESV)
When striving to determine God’s desire for our lives, we need to be cautious not to seek those answers from a worldly perspective. By opening ourselves to the transformation He freely offers through the Holy Spirit, we enable Him to better guide our steps each day and to hear His voice more clearly in the chaos of our daily lives.

I like your interpretation of the passage, however I would like to add that the constant reading and studying of the word of God would also help to renew our minds. Your site is interesting, stay blessed. Pat.
Thank you Pat, and welcome! Great point; God very certainly speaks to us through His Living Word, so spending time reading, studying and praying on it brings us that much closer to understanding His desires for us.
Have a Blessed Day!
